Here is an interesting piece that talks about conservatives cutting summer jobs.

OTTAWA – Stung by complaints that community groups are being denied federal funding to hire summer students, the Conservatives say they’ll ensure “worthy groups” get the money they need.

Wow! I wonder who are those worthy groups!

Some organizations began receiving notices Wednesday that they were ineligible for money to hire summer students through the new Canada Summer Jobs Program, while others were told they would receive funding.

I see. Here we have the Liberals in Ontario raising tuition fees while the Conservatives cutting jobs. Very interesting. I guess McGuinty as promised earlier, showing strong cooperation with the federal conservatives.

While looking for other blogs on conservatives I found a very interesting blog post by Dana. and a scary but revealing informative finding by Driving the Porcelain. Everytime the liberals are in power, the western canada vote for conservatives and when conservatives come to power, the western canada creates a new political party. Anyways, it’s not surprising.
