Stewie Griffin: The Anti-Christ?

Stewie Griffin if you do not know or for some reasons forgot is the little baby from the popular show, Family Guy. If you still do not know then most probably you have not watched the show yet. Now, the movie, Omen (1975) talks about the birth of the anti-Christ. Around that time it became kind of a fashion to bring out horror movies encouraging Christian beliefs of evil especially anti-Christ crap. For instance, we had a famous movie named Rosemary’s Baby and a bunch of very useless TV serials based on that movie. Omen was not any different. It takes a very serious stand describing the birth of the anti-Christ and his evil self.
The anti-christ is named Damien in Omen.
Now, Family Guy, the movie is full of comedy and satire. It loves to full around with religious jokes. I have posted a video in the post “Family Guy vs Christianity.” I believe that Stewie’s personality has a clear reference to Damien of Omen. According to wikipedia, “Seth MacFarlane has compared his personality and mannerisms to those of a Bond villain.” He never talked about Omen’s Damien. However, let’s see, both of them are full of evil. In addition, both of them have a dog, who can only understand them and always there to protect them. In Family Guy, it’s Brian. He seems to be the only person, who understands all the sophisticated talks of Stewie. Moreover, both of them want to kill their mothers. Then in one episode Brian actually called Stewie “anti-christ” while making fun of his personality.
Stewie’s personality actually changes overtime. There are examples of various characters on Stewie. He is mainly described as an evil person. Part of his characterization actually matches with that of an “anti-christ.” I am a big fan of Family Guy and also Stewie Griffin! Doesn’t matter if he is the anti-christ.
you guy need a hobby all you people do is ruin life for the rest of us people who enjoy this stuff so my opinion you guys can go hump a rusty bear trap

tony, i love family guy too. I am not trying to put down the show. I just found that there was an interesting similarity between family guy and the anti-christ. You know how family guy tries to make fun of various things around us.

wow ,i actually had the same impression i have watched a lot of family guy episodes , and about a week ago decided to hand-draw & then animate a short 2 part film about Stewie , and him conquering the world , in the 2 part viewers would realise that , this is a reenactment of the anti-crist story , it would come to the final battle between Jesus & Stewie …..

Everytime I watch Family Guy, I fantasize about Stewie being tortured to death in some way. I HATE that little bastard. I wish they would have one show that has him getting mutilated in 100 ways. I’d like to tie him to a tree and gut him alive. Or poor gas on him and burn him slowly. Poke his eyes out with a pocket knife would be fun too.

Stewie can also be compared to young Anakin Skywalker. Both are White Males(the supposed “racial profile” of serial killers and mass murders), intelligent, display technological aptitude. Stewie invents time travel, parallel universe travel devices. Anakin builds androids and works on “pod racers”. But if Stewie seeks world domination; he will have to move to Eurasia. According to a geoploitical writer, McSomething or other, Eurasia has the potential to dominate the world. He states that control of Eastern Europe is the key to dominating Eurasia. That Eurasia’s industries can be located far inland; making it difficult for potential enemies to attack them. Perhaps the script writer mof “Family Guy” can have an episode where stewie reads his writings, and/or goes back in time to discuss geoploitics and strategy with him. Then, if Stewie is really serious about attempting to rule the world; he can consider which country he can move to.
