World’s Oldest Religion!
By Arnab on Sep 22, 2007 in Religion
According to many professionals the oldest practiced religion in this world is various forms of Hinduism that are still practiced today. However, Hinduism is not the oldest religion existed. Many small or big religions arose and then drifted away. Many religions that we have today might not exist in a thousand years so because our point of view changes and along with social outlook. Anyways, according to many archaeologists, different types of rituals existed 40,000 years back. However, quite recently in Botswana most probably world’s oldest religion practiced. It was a group of people, who worshiped python. This is a picture of a six meter long and 2 meter high stone in the shape of a python created by men.

I was searching for the world’s oldest religious text and came across your website. Based on the definition of religion I doubt if python worship could be classified as a religion. There would have to be some sort of ritual that is handed down to each successive generation to qualify as a religion.

Dear Arnab,
Don’t just keep throwing your words in the air, making no sense at all. Do give some rational explanations of your research,
