The Bengalee peoples were colonized for many centuries. It was never ruled by the Bengalees. On the call of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, The People’s Republic of Bangladesh emerged as an Independent Sovereign state, for the first time to be ruled by the Bengalees themselves.
All external rulers / governments suppressed and kept the Bengalees backward, less educated, poverty stricken, and unhealthy. Even the present rulers of West Bengal are continuing such systematic exploitation! How c an you expect a people to be gentle and highly socialized? Look at the Kenyans and Nigerians and other African peoples. But their son Mr. Barrack Hussain Obama, the U.S. President, is sophisticated, gentle, highly educated and healthy.
The Bengalees in Bangladesh are growing and becoming developed step by step. Time will come when the Bengalees of Bangladesh shall be able to help the Bengalees of West Bengal, Tripura, and Assam, now controlled by Delhi.
