Yahoo contributes to monopoly

Yahoo decides that they would work with Google not with Microsoft. These executives of Yahoo are pathetic to tell you the truth.

Today there is an internet monopoly by Google. I am not against Google. I cannot live without Google as I said before. However, I really do not like the Monopoly that Google currently has over the internet. Similarly, I cannot live without Microsoft but I do not like the Microsoft monopoly over the Operating Systems and softwares.
Therefore, an agreement with Microsoft would have meant the rise of stronger competition against Google. Now, Yahoo made Google more powerful over the internet. I wished Yahoo! made a bit more smarter choice.
hmm, look at the pot call the kettle black! now that the shoe is on the other foot a powerful monopoly does not look so nice does it, good i am glad Google and Yahoo worked out a deal and left Microsoft out of the picture…

Well, how does that help us? Keeping Microsoft out of picture is no way going to benefit us in the internet. You have two things going on here. You have the computer world and you have a separate internet world. In the computer world, Microsoft has the monopoly. I am however glad that it is decreasing due to MAC and Linux. In the internet world, we have the Google monopoly but no company is even capable of touching them. This is really really bad for the internet. Think BestBuy has the monopoly over the electronics and they decide what’s the price is going to be of everything. That is exactly what is going on over the internet now. Google decides what is acceptable and what is not. This is not good for the greater internet.
Basically we need less Microsoft in our computers and more Microsoft in the internet.

hmm… monopoly has been shifted? I think Microsoft is still quite powerful to fight the combination of Goohoo (Google+Yahoo)

Ferdous, thanks for your comments. I don’t think Microsoft has the capability to fight Google in the internet arena though. Google is a way ahead of anyone else currently. For instance, it’s really hard for MAC to defeat Windows. I don’t think this will happen anytime soon.
In the software you do have the Microsoft monopoly and they have been sued for this a few times. However, on the internet, you have Google monopoly without any doubt. Google makes the rules of the internet. They tell us what is acceptable and what is not.
As a lot of people are speculating now if the 100% online based Google Operating System gets released and Microsoft doesn’t have anything good to fight back then it might actually be dead of Windows and MAC.
