You need buy long distance credit to call England or any country out of USA and Canada.

also there is nothing like using up socalled minutes, you pay for usage by the year or 5 years etc

you have to buy credits to call any country outside of north America, magicjack covers most of the US and Canada, if not all. I am not sure how you called England without buying credits.

I purchased the magicjack thru the website and could not get a local number, even though I was charged for one. I returned my magicjack and was told I would get a refund for the $10 but they will not honour this now. You cannot even get a phone number to speak to someone in person, just their chat line and the people do not even speak proper english, I could not make out half of what they were trying to explain to me. I WOULD NEVER EVER ORDER ONE AGAIN.

PLEASE HELP ME , I Have not request the 5 years deal , and some how when through , I try to log-in to ask not to charge me the 5 years program , I cannot log in , I try several times , Very hard to communicate wit magic Jack Customers service , I don’t have any experience until this time I’m new , I hope everything will go well .

because the “big” companies try to block your call,if you have a home phone and Internet service and you cancel your phone but leave your phone your provider will assign a number that is only for your modem
