Good job India, a nation needs such positive events, also a nation needs to focus on all aspects of development, not just one. One has to have comprehensive approach to get become a developed nation.
India is very diverse country, with huge potential, much has been acheived, much remains to be done. It takes time. But this is a leap forward in right direction.

Great job India, proud American and proud Indian.
Many comments on other websites are negative, just shows people are jeleous of India’s progress, living proof that we have arrived!!!

the western nations also have their problems with poverty. In those countries, each of those space programs cost tremendously. Still, they pursue space.

Basically average western people & foreigners know india only for poverty.This is because of the huge population.But at the same time the international media had downplayed india’s success in recent years.A nation need not be 100% poverty free.But the success of the nation depends upon the % of the middle-class people.India is having 600 Million people of Middle class earners.this is something equal to double the population of USA.Not to forget about the Indian Billionaires,Millionaires,Upper middle class population.
